Passenger window making crackling sound

I own a 2010 Ford Fiesta 1.2 - 3 Door (not the most exciting car on here), its only done 25,000 miles but it has a few issues that I hope to get a bit of help with on here.

First is an issue I only noticed this morning when clearing the water off my windows by winding them right down and back up again. I noticed that when I wind my passenger window up I can hear what can only be described as a crackling sound in places. After doing some googling I am under the impression is might be something called a window regulator on its way out. Bare in mind the window still moves up and down without any issues other than the noise.

Help would be appreciated!
